Add credit to your Text Magic Account
In order to make a payment, please visit the Buy Credit page and follow the on-screen instructions. TextMagic can automatically top up your account with SMS credit when your balance falls below a certain amount. This ensures you are always in credit and prevents any service interruption.
To enable Auto-recharge:
Select Account and then Auto-recharge from the main menu.
Click Activate Auto-recharge.
Configure your settings.
Bulk texting through TextMagic
Log in to the TextMagic web app.
Make sure you are on the “Compose” page.
In the To: field, enter the intended recipients of your message. There are three ways to add recipients’ numbers:
Type in their mobile numbers or paste them from your clipboard. If you are sending the message locally, the number can be in your local format. If you are sending it abroad, type the number in the international format.
For contacts that have already added or imported into TextMagic, then the second way to add recipients is to type their names. TextMagic will auto-suggest people for you.
And finally, if you do not want to type the details manually, you can use existing contacts, lists or frequent numbers to complete the recipients’ box quickly. Lists will need to be divided into groups no larger than 500
In the From: field, you can choose the number that you want your messages to originate from. In other words, this is who will be shown as the sender of the message. We recommend that you use the default settings to get the highest delivery rate. The default settings can be viewed on the Sender Settings page.
Type in the text message.
TextMagic shows you the length of the message, the number of SMS parts and the cost of the message, which depends on the number of parts, the number of recipients and the destination countries.
Once the message is ready to be sent, you can
Schedule it to be sent later
Preview it to ensure everything is prepared properly
Send it immediately.
Upload a new list through TextMagic
Select Contacts from the main menu.
Click on the New list button.
Enter a list name.
Make the list private or share it with your sub-accounts. This option can be changed at any time.
You can import multiple contacts to your list via .csv file or add them one-by-one.
Note: for bulk sending lists may be no longer than 500 contacts.
Add credit to your ClickSend account:
Click your username in the top right
Click Manage Credit Cards and enter your card information.
Click your username in the top right
Click Top up Account. Pick your plan, we recommend $20, this should last you 2-3 months (pricing recommended reflects USD options, please check ClickSend pricing for other countries)
Send a bulk text through ClickSend
Go to the contacts tab on the ClickSend dashboard
Click on 'Add new contact list'
Create a name for your contact list
Once you have created the name, click on 'view'
Import your contact list or create an individual contact (Note: SMS campaigns are limited to 20,000 recipients at a time)
To import your contacts, simply upload an excel spreadsheet, with the columns in any order (eg. last name, mobile, first name, email address, fax number and address) Our system will detect the correct information for each field. You can only have up to four custom columns.
Go back to Contacts
Select "Send SMS"

Upgrade MailChimp account with Mandrill
In order for us to be able to send the automated emails reliably and without interruption, we need to add Mandrill to your Mailchimp account. Emails will not send if we haven't enabled a subscription to Mandrill.
To add Mandrill to your Mailchimp account, follow these steps.
- Click your profile name, and choose Account.
- Click Transactional.
- Click Add Mandrill.
- Click Purchase Monthly Transactional Email Plan.
- Type the number of transactional email blocks you want in the blocks field (we recommend 1 block). Blocks expire at the end of each monthly billing cycle.
Set your preferences to automatically purchase 1 transactional block, this ensures you are always in credit and prevents any service interruption, and click Add.
In the sidebar, click Complete Purchase.
