Edit Templates

Before you start

  • You must have permissions to access the Automations tab within the Loyalsnap portal.

  • If you’re creating a new template, please email accountmgmt@loyalsnap.com for assistance to create the new automation rule.

  • There are two ways to create a template. The first is to create a template from scratch by clicking Create Template. The second is to duplicate an existing template.

How to edit an existing template

  1. Click Automations tab in the Loyalsnap portal.

  2. Click Templates and there you will find all of your email and text message templates.

  3. Scroll or search for the template you’d like to edit.

  4. Click Edit on the template you’d like to adjust.

  5. Click the area of the email you’d like to adjust.

  6. Don’t forget to click Save Template once the necessary changes are made.
  7. Don’t forget to click Save Template once the necessary changes are made.
    Note: If you want to use any merge variables within the template click Merge Tags for the drop-down menu.

How to create a template

Duplicating an existing template

If you’d like to use the same design of an existing template but change the message in the email 

  1. Next to the Edit button, click the dropdown button, and click on Duplicate.

  2. Confirm that you’d like to duplicate the template by clicking Duplicate.

  3. Rename the template.
  4. Make the changes needed.
  5. Click Save Template.

Create a new template

  1. Head over to the Templates section from the Automations tab. 

  2. Click Create Template.

  3. Name your new template and click Create.

  4. Add a logo, image, header, and button.

  5. Once you’ve created the template, click Save Template.
